Privacy policy
Sapvio ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. What we collect
Account data
When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Usage data
We log events related to your brands — generation requests, regenerations, version restores — to power your activity history and to help us improve the product. These logs are tied to your account, not to anonymous identifiers.
Brand content
When you generate a brand profile, the scraped text and AI-generated outputs are stored in our database and linked to your account. This data exists so you can access your brands across sessions.
Technical data
We collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, error traces) for debugging and security purposes. These are not used for profiling.
2. How we use your data
- To provide the service: generate brand content, store your brands, and restore versions.
- To communicate with you: account-related emails (verification, password reset) and occasional product updates if you opt in.
- To improve the product: aggregate, anonymised usage patterns help us prioritise features.
- To maintain security: rate limiting and abuse prevention.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your brand content to train AI models.
3. Third parties
We use the following third-party services:
- OpenAI — to generate brand copy. Your brand profile is sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to data processed by their models.
- Hosting provider — your data is stored on servers in the EU/EEA or a provider with appropriate data transfer agreements.
4. Data retention
Your account and brand data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected] — we will delete all associated data within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise any of these rights.
6. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. See our Cookie policy for details.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or by a banner in the app. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
