Cookie policy
This policy explains how Sapvio uses cookies and similar technologies, and what you can do about them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently. Some cookies are essential for a site to function; others are used for analytics, advertising, or personalisation.
What we use
Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)
We use one cookie, and only one. It keeps you logged in across page requests. Without it, you would need to log in on every page load.
| Name | Purpose | Expiry | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you logged in | Session (browser close) | First-party, HttpOnly |
| remember_token | Keeps you logged in if you tick "Remember me" | 30 days | First-party, HttpOnly |
These cookies contain only a random token that references your session on our servers. They do not store personal data, browsing behaviour, or any information that can be used to identify you across other websites. They are first-party cookies, set with the HttpOnly and Secure flags, and they cannot be read by JavaScript or by third parties.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function, we are permitted under the EU ePrivacy Directive to set them without requiring your prior consent.
Cookies we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking cookies, or any third-party cookies. We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or any similar service. We do not share any cookie data with advertisers or other third parties.
If you connect Instagram
If you choose to connect your Instagram account to publish posts directly, the connection happens server-side using an access token we store encrypted in our database. This does not place any cookie on your device.
Stripe payment pages
When you make a payment, you are redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies on its domain for fraud prevention and to complete the transaction. These are governed by Stripe's cookie policy, not ours. Once payment is complete and you return to Sapvio, no Stripe cookies remain on our domain.
Managing cookies
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you disable the session cookie, you will not be able to log in to Sapvio.
For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, see your browser's help documentation:
Future changes
If we ever introduce additional cookies or third-party scripts that set cookies, we will update this policy before they take effect and we will inform you in the app. We commit to never introducing tracking or advertising cookies without your explicit prior consent.
